FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Straight answers.

01Is Unitax really free?+

Unitax is designed as a free hub for core financial education and planning tools. Any future third-party service must clearly disclose its own terms before a user chooses it.

02Can Unitax file my taxes now?+

Not yet. The current site prepares and educates; it does not transmit a tax return. Real filing will require an authorized filing provider and additional safeguards.

03Does Unitax show my real credit report?+

Not yet. Current credit tools use examples and user-entered numbers. Unitax does not retrieve a consumer credit file or calculate a real credit score.

04Can I use Unitax if I am under 18?+

Yes, for learning and planning. Some financial products, contracts, tax situations, or connected services may require a parent or guardian.

05Should I enter my Social Security number?+

No. Do not enter a Social Security number, bank login, tax document, or account password into these educational prototype tools.

06Is this financial, legal, or tax advice?+

No. Unitax provides general education. Individual circumstances and current rules can change the right answer; use qualified help when making a regulated or high-stakes decision.
